This post has nothing to do with makeup, but oh well I'm writing it and I can do what I want with my blog.
I've got two blogs, this one and www.myteenagelife37.blogspot.com, and I realized that they're kind of like a diary. It's mostly the other one, and there's stuff I don't write about on here, but I just thought of that now. I talk about stuff that happens at school, and sleepovers, and I just really think it's great being able to do that. Comment if you want me to check out your blog, and who knows? I might even get other people to view it! Who doesn't like seeing their view count go up?

Makeuuuuuuuup
One of my five best friends gave me a thing of eye shadow for Christmas! It has this really frosty light blue paired up with a dark-ish gray, which I think seems really pretty.
So I did some research on makeup, and here's what I found, along with where:
http://beautyhigh.com/beauty-tips-for-girls/
“Always keep your summer makeup minimal. Minimal and sheer makeup is the way to go when it’s hot and muggy outside.” – Mary Greenwell, celebrity makeup artist
Always allow about two fingers from your nose to where blush starts.
“Balance out your shimmer. If you;re doing a shimmery eye, do matte lips”- Raychel Wade, founder of Cheek to Chic and La Prairie’s color ambassador
To make your manicure last, apply a thin layer of clear every two days.
“If you’re afraid of red lipstick, I love putting it on and then blotting it off to wear it as more of a stain”- Pat McGrath, makeup artist
“Foot perspiration is typical in the summer and can lead to fungal infection and unwanted odor. Wash feet daily, and let them dry thoroughly before putting shoes on”- Dr. Leslie Campbell, DPM
There's some, and I'm typing in red so you notice this, because I'm going to a new site. That's not all of them, but there were 101.

Before you even think about lipstick, generously apply lip balm. Dry, cracked lips won’t hold color for long! Once you’ve applied thoroughly, dab off the extra moisture with a tissue.
Outlining your lips will keep the color from running. When finding your signature red color, look for a lip liner in a matching (or close to it) shade! Poppy also recommends an invisible lip liner, like the one from her collection. “This is perfect for someone who's worried about lipstick bleeding. It stops color dead in its tracks, and works with all shades!”
"My mom taught me that if you put Vaseline on your eyelashes, they will become longer and more durable." --Caroline
"My mom taught me to use a beaten egg white as a face mask. It shrinks your pores and prevents acne!" --Chelsea
So that's all I could find, and then I've got one to add I saw online, but don't remember where. If you pull up your eyelid (when doing mascara) with a business card, you can get to the bottom of your eyelashes, which makes them look longer! I think that was pretty interesting.
I gotta go, but I'll try and do another post later! Byee!

'Pologies
So I did some Internet surfing, looking for some winter fashion trends to tell you guys about, but I didn't find any. I know that sweaters and uggs are in right now, but the internet was actually not that helpful. I could only find like 2 things and I didn't want to just list those two. I'm sorry guys D:
I can't really think of any more to say, so I'll wrap up here. Byeeeee!

Spice Up Your Uniform
My school district has a strict dress code, and this year, I've really been focusing on showing them that they aren't going to take away my uniqueness. Here's my dress code, and how I spice it up:
Solid colored polo
Pants that are
a) dark brown, khaki, navy blue, or black
b) aren't jeans/cargo pants/sweat pants
Close-toed shoes
There's other stuff, but that's basically the main thing. I add color by wearing bright shoes & shoelaces, and brightly colored belts. The biggest way I add to my "uniform" is wearing solid colored shirts over my polo. It adds so much color, and the right color can do so much for anyone. Here's some other ways!! I didn't think of these, I found them online.

- Add a fun belt!
- Do cute stuff with your hair!
- Wear bright jewelry, pins, etc.
- Creative socks
- Scarves
- Wear cute nail polish
These are kind of vague, so I'm going to give you some ideas. For the belt, wear a weaved one, or maybe a neon. I'm not into studded clothes, but if that's your thing, go for it!! You can do maybe a ponytail, bun, part your hair differently, and maybe headbands and ribbons? There's so much room to adjust there, the possibilities are endless. I think longer necklaces would be easier to see, and dangly earrings look nice, but they're kind of heavy. I, personally, like putting pins on my school I.D. If you don't have one though, stick them on your shirt or backpack! Scarves are kind of self-explanatory, I think, so I won't say anything on that topic. Nail polish. My favorite beauty product in the world. Neon makes a statement for sure, but you can do sparkles, decals, french tips, and tons of other stuff.
I really hope this helped, I know I'm going to put some of these to work. Thanks for reading!!

Black Friday Haul
I didn't get very much makeup on Black Friday: I forgot!! :( I know my mom and grandma got me some clothes at Rue 21, but I didn't see which ones, because they made me leave. Maybe I'll upload pictures of the outfits! It"ll be after Christmas though, because they're presssssssentssssss.
I'm thinking about working on cleaning out my closet little by little, so then I don't overdo it and quit halfway through. Maybe do one drawer or shelf a week? Comment and lemme know what you think!!
Uggh there's something I need to be doing right now but I forgot what it was!! I'm going to go figure it out, I'll talk to you later!!
