This post has nothing to do with makeup, but oh well I'm writing it and I can do what I want with my blog.
I've got two blogs, this one and www.myteenagelife37.blogspot.com, and I realized that they're kind of like a diary. It's mostly the other one, and there's stuff I don't write about on here, but I just thought of that now. I talk about stuff that happens at school, and sleepovers, and I just really think it's great being able to do that. Comment if you want me to check out your blog, and who knows? I might even get other people to view it! Who doesn't like seeing their view count go up?

Makeuuuuuuuup
One of my five best friends gave me a thing of eye shadow for Christmas! It has this really frosty light blue paired up with a dark-ish gray, which I think seems really pretty.
So I did some research on makeup, and here's what I found, along with where:
http://beautyhigh.com/beauty-tips-for-girls/
“Always keep your summer makeup minimal. Minimal and sheer makeup is the way to go when it’s hot and muggy outside.” – Mary Greenwell, celebrity makeup artist
Always allow about two fingers from your nose to where blush starts.
“Balance out your shimmer. If you;re doing a shimmery eye, do matte lips”- Raychel Wade, founder of Cheek to Chic and La Prairie’s color ambassador
To make your manicure last, apply a thin layer of clear every two days.
“If you’re afraid of red lipstick, I love putting it on and then blotting it off to wear it as more of a stain”- Pat McGrath, makeup artist
“Foot perspiration is typical in the summer and can lead to fungal infection and unwanted odor. Wash feet daily, and let them dry thoroughly before putting shoes on”- Dr. Leslie Campbell, DPM
There's some, and I'm typing in red so you notice this, because I'm going to a new site. That's not all of them, but there were 101.

Before you even think about lipstick, generously apply lip balm. Dry, cracked lips won’t hold color for long! Once you’ve applied thoroughly, dab off the extra moisture with a tissue.
Outlining your lips will keep the color from running. When finding your signature red color, look for a lip liner in a matching (or close to it) shade! Poppy also recommends an invisible lip liner, like the one from her collection. “This is perfect for someone who's worried about lipstick bleeding. It stops color dead in its tracks, and works with all shades!”
"My mom taught me that if you put Vaseline on your eyelashes, they will become longer and more durable." --Caroline
"My mom taught me to use a beaten egg white as a face mask. It shrinks your pores and prevents acne!" --Chelsea
So that's all I could find, and then I've got one to add I saw online, but don't remember where. If you pull up your eyelid (when doing mascara) with a business card, you can get to the bottom of your eyelashes, which makes them look longer! I think that was pretty interesting.
I gotta go, but I'll try and do another post later! Byee!

'Pologies
So I did some Internet surfing, looking for some winter fashion trends to tell you guys about, but I didn't find any. I know that sweaters and uggs are in right now, but the internet was actually not that helpful. I could only find like 2 things and I didn't want to just list those two. I'm sorry guys D:
I can't really think of any more to say, so I'll wrap up here. Byeeeee!

Spice Up Your Uniform
My school district has a strict dress code, and this year, I've really been focusing on showing them that they aren't going to take away my uniqueness. Here's my dress code, and how I spice it up:
Solid colored polo
Pants that are
a) dark brown, khaki, navy blue, or black
b) aren't jeans/cargo pants/sweat pants
Close-toed shoes
There's other stuff, but that's basically the main thing. I add color by wearing bright shoes & shoelaces, and brightly colored belts. The biggest way I add to my "uniform" is wearing solid colored shirts over my polo. It adds so much color, and the right color can do so much for anyone. Here's some other ways!! I didn't think of these, I found them online.

- Add a fun belt!
- Do cute stuff with your hair!
- Wear bright jewelry, pins, etc.
- Creative socks
- Scarves
- Wear cute nail polish
These are kind of vague, so I'm going to give you some ideas. For the belt, wear a weaved one, or maybe a neon. I'm not into studded clothes, but if that's your thing, go for it!! You can do maybe a ponytail, bun, part your hair differently, and maybe headbands and ribbons? There's so much room to adjust there, the possibilities are endless. I think longer necklaces would be easier to see, and dangly earrings look nice, but they're kind of heavy. I, personally, like putting pins on my school I.D. If you don't have one though, stick them on your shirt or backpack! Scarves are kind of self-explanatory, I think, so I won't say anything on that topic. Nail polish. My favorite beauty product in the world. Neon makes a statement for sure, but you can do sparkles, decals, french tips, and tons of other stuff.
I really hope this helped, I know I'm going to put some of these to work. Thanks for reading!!

Black Friday Haul
I didn't get very much makeup on Black Friday: I forgot!! :( I know my mom and grandma got me some clothes at Rue 21, but I didn't see which ones, because they made me leave. Maybe I'll upload pictures of the outfits! It"ll be after Christmas though, because they're presssssssentssssss.
I'm thinking about working on cleaning out my closet little by little, so then I don't overdo it and quit halfway through. Maybe do one drawer or shelf a week? Comment and lemme know what you think!!
Uggh there's something I need to be doing right now but I forgot what it was!! I'm going to go figure it out, I'll talk to you later!!

Makeup Info
So this post is mainly going to be about things I've learned about makeup. :)
I took a quiz, "http://www.totalbeauty.com/content/quizzes/eyeshadow-shade-quiz" and it said I should wear colors in the purple family. I've got green-blue eyes, (mostly green) so I was thinking a pink would work, but I haven't had a opportunity to get any. BLACK FRIDAY SISTA HOLLA.
So this website, (http://www.myeyeshadowconsultant.com/2011/02/21/how-to-pick-the-perfect-eyeshadow-color-for-your-eyecolor/" said green or hazel eyes could wear pink or purple. My eyes are kinda transitioning from green to blue, but until they're full blue, I think I'm just going to say they're green.
I don't really think about blush, because I really love the one color. Mostly I only think about eye shadow and mascara. Brands don't really matter to me, as long as it's not from Dollar Tree. I've heard Sephora and E.L.F. are really good, but IDK. I have an E.L.F. compact mirror, but not much else. Most of my (small) makeup collection is either Covergirl or Maybelline.
Here's a really good site: http://beautyandmakeup.info/. I'm looking at that as I'm typing this, and it looks really good! I'm going to go look for some ones with stuff about hair.
Another good makeup one is http://www.totalbeauty.com/. It's got a lot of infor on basically every type of makeup.
http://theeverygirl.com/ has a lot of stuff, and not all of it has to do with makeup. I didn't look around, but I think it'll be pretty cool! Comment and tell me which site you went to, what you read about, and what you thought!! Thanks!

Clothes
This post is going to be anything I think of pertaining to clothes.
So I don't really care about whether or not I wear designer brands, but you know, I like having clothes that are higher-end. I'm not picky, so long as a) they fit and b) they aren't filthy.
I like to shop basically anywhere, but I think if I had to pick 3, it'd be Aeropostle, Icing, and probably Rue 21. They're all kind of expensive though, and the nearest Aero is approximately an hour and a half away. There's a Rue and Icing at the mall though, but I'm kinda broke right now. I'll save up though!
As far as colors go, I don't usually wear yellow, brown, orange (rarely), or black. I've got a couple of cute black shirts, and I wear this orange, solid-colored t-shirt over my school polos. I've only work them over pink and blue, but white would obviously work.
Shoes. Footwear. Sneaker. Footgear. Heels. Moccasins. Tennis shoes. Sandals. Flip flops. IT'S AN ENDLESS STREAM PEOPLE. I honestly don't have that many shoes, most of the ones in my shoe box are too small. I've got 2 pairs of tennis shoes, but one is for working in mud or whatever. Aside from that, I've got my snow boots, my knockoff Ugg boots, my slippers, and a pair of dress shoes. I don't have favorite brands, I only buy them depending on whether or not they're cute and fit nicely.
So that's all I can think of, comment for ideas on what I should post about! I'm open!

My Makeup Collection
My makeup collection is so small, it's not even funny. I figured I would just list what I have, then ask you guys for suggestions on what to buy? Nothing too dark or bright or my parents won't let me wear it in public!!! I don't know exactly what brands of makeup I have, but I'm going to try and guess.
Covergirl Cheekers (Blush)
Maybelline Great Lash (Mascara)
Lip Gloss (Don't know the brand, I want to say Covergirl, but IDK)
Eye shadow (Like the lip gloss, I think Coverigrl, but IDK)
And I've also got a tube of "lip gloss" from Dollar Tree, but it was SO not worth my money. For all you who are reading this: don't buy lip gloss at Dollar Tree, I don't recommend it. And also I've got a few tubes of Chap Stick, but that's basically it! My mom took us shopping on our birthday, and that's all she would let us get. I don't know what else I should get first: Eyeliner? Lip stain? Different eye shadow? (I got nude, which was stupid because it doesn't show up at all.) But hey, if I get mascara or something on my cheek, bam! Covered up!! HEY I SHOULD GET CONCEALER. I haven't been allowed to though because the foundation makes the pimple worse. I'm going to have to resort to begging soon though. Next time, I think I'll do a post about how I spice up my boring school uniform! It's basically solid-colored polos, and pants that are a certain color. There's all these stupid restrictions that I hate, but I've learned to live with it.

First Post!
So you might know my other blog, http://myteenagelife37.blogspot.com/. That blog is just kind of about anything and everything, but this blog is about clothes and makeup and stuff like that. I'm not allowed to post selfies or anything, my parents won't let me. I'm mostly just going to recommend stuff and maybe some helpful tricks. Right now, it'll be just telling makeup stories because I have a very limited collection, I've only been allowed to wear makeup TO SCHOOL for a little over 2 months. I'll talk about what brands I've heard about, and also what kind of clothes and makeup I, personally, like. Thanks for reading!
