So there was this book sale in the mall today, and my grandpa took my sister and I. There wasn't anything there I liked, so I went to Icing while my grandpa finished. While I was there, I found this lipstick that I really liked. It's too bright to wear by itself, so I tone it down by mixing it with chapstick. Have you ever had a make-up mess-up? I want to hear about it!

Scarves & Makeup
No matter where you live, scarves are probably popular right about now. If you look around at any given time, you'll probably see at least 3 girls with some sort of scarf. I was having an issue with scarves today, and it was very annoying. I didn't have an infinity scarf in the color I wanted, and the scarves I DID have in said color weren't long enough to tie into an infinity scarf. So here's what I did:
1.) Tied a light blue one through my belt loops. The shirt covered it though, so that didn't work.
2.) Braided 3 scarves together. One was way longer, so that didn't work.
3.) Took out the longer one, and "braided" them together. Then I tied them with a hair tie, and tied it around
my waist. I tied the two ends together, and it's what I'm wearing now. Whaddya know, it worked, and
it's really cute!
So how do you wear your scarves? Comment and lemme know, I'd really like to hear them!!! If you want, I could make a list of all the comments I get. We'll trade though: you comment, and I'll make the list. It won't work if I don't have anything to make a list out of!!!
I almost forgot about the makeup ohmigosh. So I have on this eye shadow, my mascara (can't find a link to it sorry) and an additional eye shadow. It's this really pretty born, and I wasn't sure about it at first. What I did was put a little bit in each corner of my eye, and blended the pink and brown with a Q-tip. It's so pretty!!! I really do recommend it, but watch what shades of pink and brown you're using.

Color Matching
Have you ever been unable to find the perfect color to go with your outfit? Isn't it annoying? Well that's the purpose of this post: to give you color scheme ideas! I literally had this problem only this morning, so I figured I should do this post to help anyone else with this problem!
- Red & Grass Green (Not dark green, but a few shades lighter. This is mainly worn around Christmas, but worn right and it works year-round!)
- Pink and Green (The hotter the pink, the darker the green. (Like magenta and forest green.) Neon green should only be worn with neon pink.)
- Turquoise and Gold (Don't wear gold clothing: just jewelry. Gold clothing is tacky, unless you're in Vegas.)
- Turquoise and Pink (This link if for a polo but it's the shade of pink I'm talking about) HERE'S THE LINK TO THE PINK PART
- Turquoise and Brown (Chocolate brown, or almost gold. Normal shade of turquoise.)
- Orange and Pink (Bright orange, NOT pumpkin orange, but pumpkin orange jewelry is okay.)
- Orange and Purple (Very Halloween, so I'd watch what you're wearing if you do this before and after fall.)
- Navy Blue and Magenta (Be careful with what shade of magenta you're wearing. Too much of any color can be weird-looking.)
- Brown and Purple (Chocolate brown only, as I said before.)
- Orange and Green (No pumpkin orange, and maybe lean towards the lighter side of green.)
- Purple and Yellow (Yellow is a tricky color to work with, don't get too bright or too dark. Stay in the middle.)
- Teal and Gray (More of a darker color for both of them, but if you lighten one, lighten the other.)
WHITE GOES WITH ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, EXCEPT OTHER SHADES OF WHITE.
I think I covered most of the big ones, comment and ask if you have any other questions, and I'll get back to you! I can't comment back, but I'll do a post and mention you. So if you comment, keep checking my blog!

My Learnings
I was at a friend's house, and she had one of my other friends over too, and for the 98.72356% part, it was awesome! Anyways, in the morning, Maddy, the other girl, wanted me to do her makeup. It was only mascara and concealer, but it was a very interesting experience. The mascara was definitely the hardest part, but I think I did an ok job, if I may say so myself.

My EOS Experience
So I know EOS lip balm is really popular, and I really wanted to kind of give the company a shout-out.
My lips are chapped a lot, for at least two reasons:
a) I bite my lips frequently, although not so much anymore and
b) Winters in the Midwest are horrible
Soooooooo, I use EOS. My lips were chapped and cracked to the point of almost bleeding, and I put it on before I went to bed. The next morning, it was as if they had never been chapped.
There's my story for the day; what's yours? Comment and tell me, I want to hear what you guys think!

Pink Mascara
My mom got some Maybelline Limited Edition color mascara, and she got pink. Of course I couldn't NOT try it, so that's what I did today! It didn't work, the only pink there was was in little clumps. I was disappointed, but oh well. Don't ruin the mascara you CAN see! Ok that was a stupid joke, I'm sorry. That's all I have time for, ttyl!

EOS
I can't find a copyright-free picture of EOS, but I did get a Strawberry Sorbet sphere. It works amazingly when I put it on before bed, lemme tell you. My lips get really chapped in the winter, and traditional chap stick doesn't work all that well for me sometimes. I think I might put on multiple chap stick flavors at once; would that still work as well though or not? I also got this pretty pink eye shadow, and a brown pallet along with some brushes and a new thing of pretty blush. Comment and tell me about the makeup you got, or what makeup you want!!
